Hi! I'm Melissa but I usually go by Mel. I'm a 3D Environment Artist and Generalist for Games and a graduate of the Gnomon School of Visual Effects. When I'm not creating real-time environments I'm usually adding art and reference books to my bookshelf, traveling and taking pictures of everything but the things people usually take pictures of, playing video games, or hanging out with my greyhound, Vader. In addition to creating environments, I've also received a Gnomon Best of Term Award in Game VFX for the Winter 2021 term for my Standing Stones Environment. I'm proficient in various softwares. Some additional skills I have continued to hone during my time at Gnomon are a solid understanding of Lighting and Composition.
